U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Card Offers Zero-Fee Financing for Small Enterprises

The U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa Business Card provides small enterprises with a zero-fee expense management tool featuring tiered cash-back rewards and a year of interest-free financing to optimize working capital.

U.S. Bank is offering its Triple Cash Rewards Visa Business Card to small enterprises, providing a zero-fee expense management tool designed to capture routine corporate spending. The financial product combines tiered cash-back incentives with an introductory zero-percent annual percentage rate to help companies optimize their short-term working capital.

For small and medium-sized enterprises navigating tight operating margins, minimizing financing costs and maximizing returns on routine expenditures are critical priorities. By offering a zero-percent introductory APR on both new purchases and balance transfers for twelve billing cycles, the card allows businesses to finance large capital expenditures or consolidate existing high-yield debt without immediate interest accrual. Following this promotional window, the ongoing variable APR ranges from 17.24 percent to 26.24 percent.

The rewards architecture specifically targets frequent operational overhead. Cardholders earn three percent cash back on eligible purchases at gas and electric vehicle charging stations, office supply stores, cellular service providers, and restaurants. However, the elevated rewards rate for fuel and charging is strictly capped at individual transactions of $200 or less, and explicitly excludes purchases made at wholesale clubs and supercenters.

Travel-related spending yields a five percent cash-back rate on prepaid hotels and car rentals, though these bookings must be executed directly through the U.S. Bank Travel Center to qualify. All other corporate purchases generate an unlimited one percent cash back. To drive initial adoption, new cardholders can secure a $750 welcome bonus by meeting a minimum spend requirement of $6,000 within the first 180 days.

Beyond direct cash-back mechanics, the product integrates with broader corporate expense management infrastructure. U.S. Bank provides an annual statement credit of up to $100 for recurring software subscriptions, targeting essential accounting platforms like QuickBooks and FreshBooks. This credit is applied automatically after 11 months of consecutive eligible purchases, while the issuer also grants access to its Spend Management platform for tracking receipts and analyzing corporate outlays.

Despite its strong cash-back proposition, the card lacks the extensive travel and lifestyle perks characteristic of premium corporate credit products. International transactions incur a three percent foreign transaction fee, limiting its utility for enterprises with significant cross-border supply chains or operations. Conversely, the issuance of additional employee cards carries no extra cost, allowing companies to scale the rewards program across their workforce while maintaining centralized oversight.
