BTG Pactual Raises Its Méliuz Stake to 10.51% in New Filing
BTG Pactual has raised its stake in Méliuz to 10.51%, lifting its direct holding to roughly 10.96 million ordinary shares, up from about 6.71% previously disclosed. The 13 August 2026 filing makes the bank one of the largest shareholders in the Brazilian cashback fintech, which since 2025 has become the country's first publicly traded Bitcoin treasury company. BTG says the move is purely financial, with no plan to change control, and it also holds derivatives giving it a short exposure to the stock.
