According to a statement, the theme of this year’s event to be held in Lagos is “Promise to Performance: Nigeria’s Oil & Gas Inflection Point.”

“ The conference will hold the reform agenda to account across five critical conversations, interrogating whether indigenous operators are producing at scale, diagnosing the governance and infrastructure gaps behind Nigeria’s persistent production shortfall, examining the execution challenge behind the $60 billion Gas Master Plan, assessing the downstream economy taking shape around domestic refining, and exploring offshore as the sector’s next growth engine in an ESG-constrained world

Speaking on the 2026 edition, Jamiu Ijaodola, CEO of Eventhive, said in the statement: “NOGO 2026 is designed to move the conversation from what has changed to what those changes must now produce. We are bringing together the operators, financiers, policymakers, and service providers who will determine whether this moment becomes a turning point.”

The event will feature insights from Nigeria’s upstream operators, gas developers, local content champions, and international capital providers which includes: Olajumoke Cecilia Ajayi FNAPE, MD/CEO, West African Exploration And Production; Nzan Ogbe, Executive Vice Chairman, Levene Energies; Pade Durotoye, Managing Director, Nigeria, Savannah Energy; Sheila Addo, Deputy Managing Director, National Petroleum Authority, Ghana; among others.
