Global Market: Singapore launches green bond issue targeting up to $2 billion
Singapore launched a green government infrastructure bond offering to raise between S$2.1 billion and S$2.6 billion for funding long-term sustainable infrastructure projects. The 20-year bond, maturing in 2046, will finance eligible green expenditures under the country's green bond framework and include allocations for both retail and institutional investors.
