Cube Highways Trust opens Rs 5,000 crore InvIT after 42% profit jump

Cube Highways Trust has opened its Rs 5,000 crore offer-for-sale, giving market participants access to a fast-growing Indian road infrastructure portfolio.

Cube Highways Trust opened its subscription today for a Rs 5,000 crore offer-for-sale comprising 32.89 crore units. The infrastructure investment trust has set a narrow price band of Rs 151 to Rs 152 per unit, with allotment expected to be finalised on July 29, 2026.

The units are scheduled to list on both the National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange on August 3, 2026. Retail and institutional investors can bid in lots of 95 units, setting the minimum investment requirement at Rs 14,440 based on the upper end of the price band.

The market entry is backed by strong financial metrics for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. Profit after tax surged 42.3 percent to Rs 1,422.89 crore, up from Rs 999.57 crore in FY25. Total income simultaneously grew by 38.7 percent, reaching Rs 2,922.09 crore compared to Rs 2,106.32 crore in the prior year.

For market participants, this growth highlights the predictable cash-flow model inherent in operational toll-road assets. The trust attributes its margin expansion to improved operational performance and efficient asset management across its Indian highway portfolio.

Established in March 2022, the trust is sponsored by Cube Highways and Infrastructure V Pte. Ltd. It is overseen by Cube Highways Fund Advisors Private Limited, which controls investment decisions and portfolio strategy for the Cube Group-backed entity.

A critical component of the trust's valuation is its access to a pipeline of committed and right-of-first-offer assets. This provides a clear trajectory for future acquisitions, reducing the execution risk that typically accompanies infrastructure expansion.

To support this network, the trust and its subsidiaries employed more than 800 professionals across operations, safety, and finance as of March 31, 2026. Over 5,000 additional contractual workers handle daily maintenance across the ground infrastructure.

Kotak Mahindra Capital Co. Ltd. is acting as the book running lead manager for the issue. KFin Technologies Ltd. has been appointed to manage the registrar responsibilities for the subscription.
