Analysts target financial, real estate and e-commerce stocks amid market volatility

Persistent market choppiness and crude oil fluctuations are driving sector rotation in Indian equities, prompting targeted buy recommendations in financial services, property development, and online retail.

Indian equity markets are navigating a choppy, range-bound environment characterized by pronounced sector rotation and acute sensitivity to global crude oil prices. Amid this volatility, NeoTrader co-founder Raja Venkatraman has identified specific buying opportunities in the financial services, real estate, and e-commerce sectors for the coming weeks.

The broader market is struggling to build on the gains made since April, with the benchmark Nifty index reacting to strong support levels between 24,000 and 24,100. Investors are increasingly adopting a buy-on-dip and sell-on-rally approach as geopolitical uncertainties and fluctuating commodity prices dictate overall sentiment.

A prospective US-Iran agreement has recently eased crude oil prices, boosting enthusiasm in auto, realty, and banking counters. Conversely, energy refiners and oil marketing companies faced selling pressure, while paint manufacturers like Asian Paint declined due to ongoing raw material cost concerns.

In the financial space, Venkatraman recommends a long position in 360ONE, a wealth and asset management firm. The stock is trading around ₹1,203, with a buy trigger above ₹1,205, a stop loss at ₹1,165, and a two-month target of ₹1,325. This recommendation follows positive first-quarter earnings and a technical rounding pattern revival supported by rising volume.

Brigade Enterprises is highlighted for its exposure to the recovering property sector. Trading near ₹625.75, the stock is recommended for purchase above ₹630 with a target of ₹695. The firm’s diverse portfolio across residential and commercial properties is driving sustained buying interest, despite a brief setback from negative first-quarter results.

E-commerce platform Meesho is also flagged for a long trade, driven by a recent block deal that pushed its share price past the ₹197 resistance level. With the stock at ₹209.51, analysts suggest buying above ₹210 for a target of ₹235, capitalizing on the resilience of the broader retail sector.

Investors are advised to monitor specific risk factors for these picks, including regulatory changes for 360ONE, commercial absorption slowdowns for Brigade, and persistent net losses for Meesho. Market participants must navigate these stock-specific risks alongside broader macroeconomic headwinds and potential interest rate shifts.
