Forex reserves soar to $707 billion, highest so far in current fiscal
India's foreign exchange reserves saw a notable increase, rising by $14.1 billion to hit a significant $707 billion. This boost included a $9.9 billion uptick in foreign currency assets and a $3.9 billion increase in gold reserves. Anticipated future inflows may further enhance these reserves, especially with the Reserve Bank of India receiving $56.8 billion from its special deposit scheme and $52 billion from FCNR(B) deposits.
