Muthoot Microfin Q1 profit jumps 13-fold on stronger loan growth

Muthoot Microfin reported a more than 13-fold rise in Q1 net profit to Rs 81 crore, driven by 49% higher loan disbursements, lower credit costs and improved asset quality. Gross loan portfolio grew 18%, while net interest margin remained stable at 12%.
