Robinhood Chain tokenized equities hit $55M daily volume

Real-world assets on Robinhood Chain have surged fivefold as tokenized stocks gain traction, though memecoin speculation still drives most network volume.

Tokenized real-world assets on Robinhood Chain have surged roughly fivefold in under two weeks to reach about $70 million in market value. A dozen tokenized equities are now trading in meaningful size, generating a combined $55 million in daily volume. This marks a critical shift for a network that initially struggled to prove its core premise of putting traditional stocks onchain.

GameStop leads the charge with $26.6 million in daily decentralized exchange volume, followed by Nvidia at $14 million and SpaceX at $6.4 million. Five tokenized stocks now clear over $1 million a day, with the rest of the top dozen surpassing $500,000. This specific equity activity has helped push the chain's total value locked to approximately $312 million, tripling since mid-July.

The broader network metrics underscore significant user engagement. Robinhood Chain is clearing more than $600 million in daily decentralized-exchange volume, making it one of the most active networks in crypto. Data from Token Terminal shows the chain has processed over 138 million transactions in just 30 days.

For market professionals, this growth addresses early skepticism that Robinhood had built expensive infrastructure only to attract aimless speculation. The increase in real-world asset values suggests the underlying financial product is finally gaining traction. However, the chain's user behavior remains heavily skewed toward crypto-native trading.

Tokenized equities still represent less than a tenth of the total daily DEX volume. Stablecoins hold the largest market capitalization on the network, while the highest-volume tokens on DEX Screener are memecoins like "Hoodrat," "Vladhood," and "Swole Doge." The CASHCAT memecoin, which spiked 1,700% after CEO Vlad Tenev followed its account, is now down 75% from its peak.

Robinhood is building toward migrating its millions of retail customers onchain. Yet the current data shows its blockchain is functioning as much as a speculative trading venue as a regulated equities exchange. The real-world asset growth is real, but it remains a secondary feature on a network still driven by memecoins.
