ITC charts growth strategy as cigarette tax hike hits stock

ITC Chairman Sanjiv Puri said the company is tackling higher cigarette taxes through calibrated price hikes, product innovation and diversification. ITC will invest Rs 20,000 crore over five years, strengthen FMCG operations and consider an ITC Infotech IPO after achieving scale.
