Hyperscale Data’s Bitcoin Stash Now Exceeds Its Market Cap

Hyperscale Data has accumulated over 1,000 bitcoins worth $72.4 million, creating a rare valuation disconnect where its crypto holdings alone surpass its $63 million market capitalization.

Hyperscale Data now holds more than 1,000 bitcoins, pushing its digital asset treasury to a valuation that eclipses the company's own stock market value. The AI data center operator disclosed on Tuesday that its subsidiaries held 1,087.4527 BTC as of Sunday, equal to roughly $72.4 million at current prices. With a market capitalization of about $63 million, the firm's bitcoin reserves alone are now worth more than the entire business.

Ault Capital Group, a wholly owned subsidiary, purchased approximately 51.5 bitcoin through open-market transactions during the week ended July 19. This recent acquisition represents a notable acceleration in an aggressive accumulation strategy. Since late March 2026, when the company reported holding 627.9 BTC, Hyperscale has nearly doubled its position by adding roughly 460 coins in under four months.

The rapid buildout is designed to establish a $100 million digital asset treasury and achieve full parity between its bitcoin holdings and its market capitalization. That parity threshold has already been breached. Hyperscale's cryptocurrency stash now exceeds its equity value, creating a rare valuation disconnect for a publicly traded operating company.

While adopting the Bitcoin treasury model popularized by Strategy Inc., Hyperscale has drifted into unusual territory. Strategy, which trades on the Nasdaq, shifted from a traditional software business to buying bitcoin to offer investors equity exposure to the asset. Hyperscale is now exhibiting characteristics of deeply discounted treasury plays, where the underlying assets trade at a persistent premium to the stock price.

Executive Chairman Milton “Todd” Ault III explicitly leaned into this widening gap between price and intrinsic value. “We now hold more than $70 million in Bitcoin,” Ault stated. He argued that the broader market is currently assigning zero value to the firm's cash reserves, its physical Michigan data center, and its portfolio of operating businesses.

Shares of Hyperscale, which trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker GPUS, were changing hands near $0.13 at the time of writing. Management has indicated it will continue executing its treasury strategy while actively highlighting the market's apparent undervaluation of its non-crypto operations. For market professionals, the stock now functions as a leveraged proxy for bitcoin paired with an unvalued infrastructure business.
