Lohia Corp prices Rs 1,101 crore IPO at up to Rs 425 a share
The Indian technical textile machinery maker has set the terms for a pure secondary share sale, offering investors entry into a business that recently posted a 64% jump in annual profit.
Lohia Corp has fixed a price band of Rs 404 to Rs 425 per share for its Rs 1,101 crore initial public offering, which opens for subscription on July 23. The issue consists entirely of an offer for sale of over 2.59 crore equity shares, meaning the company will not receive any fresh capital from the listing.
Because the flotation is a pure exit mechanism, all proceeds will flow to existing shareholders rather than funding corporate expansion. Promoter Raj Kumar Lohia is offloading up to 167.28 lakh shares, while Gaurav Lohia, Amit Kumar Lohia, and Ritu Lohia are selling 22.18 lakh, 9.20 lakh, and 16.71 lakh shares respectively. Additional shareholders Alok Kumar Lohia, Anurag Lohia, and Anuja Lohia are offloading 21.71 lakh, 11.38 lakh, and 10.85 lakh shares.
For market participants, the key metric will be how public markets value this recent growth trajectory. Lohia Corp reported a 64% year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs 193 crore for FY26, up from Rs 118 crore in FY25. Revenue from operations climbed 25% to Rs 1,717 crore, compared to Rs 1,377 crore in the previous year.
Incorporated in 2023, the business operates as a global manufacturer of machinery for technical textiles, specifically polypropylene and high-density polyethylene woven fabrics. Its equipment serves a diverse range of heavy-duty industrial end markets, supporting the production of cement, fertilizer, chemical, and polymer bags. The machinery is also used to manufacture shopping bags, flexible intermediate bulk containers, tarpaulins, geotextiles, ground covers, carpet backing, ropes, and twines.
Retail investors will need to commit a minimum of Rs 14,875 to buy one lot of 35 shares at the top of the price band. Equirus Capital Ltd. is acting as the book-running lead manager, with MUFG Intime India Pvt. Ltd. serving as registrar. Share allotment is expected to conclude on July 28, ahead of the stock's NSE and BSE debut on July 30.
